Concept: Personal genomics hacking

Introduced by Patrick Chung, Partner at X-Fund. 23andMe has the world’s largest database of matched genotypes and phenotypes. What interesting insights can be gleaned from this data? Genome-wide association studies are obvious and are being done. But what society-shaking things can be done when we layer environmental data, medical records, and other third-party data on top of this dataset? This would work toward a grand unifying theory of Nature AND Nurture.
